The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to map your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button click. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with future models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.
As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving forward.
The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be removed frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. shark robot vacuum and mop comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots at this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The control panel includes an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.
The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
